Extending the family
Nope! Not what you're thinking... if you're thinking what I'm thinking you're thinking. Our new family member is 26 years old and his name is Jack (or Jacek if you speak Polish). He moved into our guest bedroom about 6 or 7 weeks ago (which means our new guest bedroom is the living room) and is a great addition to our little castle (as he puts it) here in Slough. Among many other good characteristics (like being able to cut hair), Jack is really informed about healthy living, which we really need! It's been an interesting season of experimenting with raw broccoli and eating a lot more fruit and overall we're feeling better for it. Welcome to the family, Jack!
Things are very good on most fronts here. The church has been doing really well. The last few weeks have been fuller than ever with a few new faces about. At the moment, we have people from 12 nations forming the church, which is really exciting. We've also got an outreach in Slough coming up with 'Big Tommy' and Kellye Huff, a real strong guy who pops a hot water bottle with his lungs and a gospel singer who recorded with Elton John, which promises to be really fruitful. After that, I'll be joining them in Marseille for a week of outreach.
Suzanne's work is also going from strength to strength. She is doing more and more classes and is settling into them nicely. I personally think that she is making quite a name for herself in terms of professional, enjoyable and challenging exercise classes. And Liya-Jean is loving school. She went 3 times a week during February and has been saying 'more school' recently! She is developing her will nicely, which has its challenges.
Other than that, there isn't much to report. We're having a nice Friday/ family off-day today and will then be jumping into a busy weekend early tomorrow in the 'unforced rhythm of His grace'!
Bless you!
Oh, by the way, I did tweak our photo and video pages a little, so you can see all the recent ones on my Google+ page. Just follow the links on the pages.
