Inspired to trust
This Sunday while we were at church, during the worship, God reminded me of how reliable He is. He found a way to restore and inspire me to trust in Him fully again. I am so grateful.
Examining my heart I realised that life`s disappointments weighs into our trust in this EVER so reliable and faithful Father. He has never disappointed me, however I have been dissapointed so many times.
Dissapointment in outcomes that we desperately needed to be different.
These moments have the potential to ruin our trust.
Loosing 2 babies was a harsh reality for me to deal with. Close frienships shattered, financial difficulty, a struggling business. I knew He had the power to change it all, but, for some unexplainable reason that supercedes time and space He tarries.
He does respond to prayer but often in His own time, and in His own way.
I am yet again standing at a cross roads.
Trusting God in a time where He seems to be slow to respond.
Then He whispers: "trust Me, you know I am reliable...trust Me"
It is my choice to lay my trust before Him again and again. One thing is for certain He has my best interests at heart. I have no doubt in that. I can not choose the full outcome but I can choose to trust Him to steer everything.
I write this post because trust is a gift. He gave it to me once again on Sunday and will time and time again when I find my trust is failing. God gives us the power we need to rely and trust in Him. He will generously pour this same trust into you. All you have to do is ask.
I leave you with this. Not trusting in the outcome but choosing to trust in a faithful, loving, kind, generous Father. Regardless of outcomes. He does not change. His love is constant and enduring. If there is something your heart is burning for, something you have trusted God for. Do not stop trusting Him. The outcome may look different but rest assured that your desire will be fullfilled. Try not to script the outcome and be open to His provision for your desire.
If you need help to trust in His goodness once again...ask...He will generously lavish tgis gift upon you.
